Lucania, Velia, AR didrachm, 7.46 g. (20 mm), c. 400-300 BC. Obverse: head of Athena facing left, wearing Attic helmet decorated with griffin. Reverse: lion walking to right with flying owl above, below the letter T and YEΛHTΩN in exerque. SNG ANS 1287. A rare type.
