Great Britain, 1847, 1s pale green, die I, unused block of four with large part of original gum. Hinge remnants; full to huge margins, with large part of right sheet margin, SG H1 (1). A central fold between stamps and small defects which do not detract from this very attractive and rare block. This is the second largest multiple recorded. (A similar block recently sold at auction for CHF 50.000). Certificate RPS 2004.
