Lombardy Venetia, 1850 15c red, superb example tied by ideal strike of Cles two line postmark (Tirol) on very fresh 1851 entire letter sent registered with an extremely fine 6 Kreuzer stamp on reverse, tied by rare illustrated registration oval ”RACCOMANDATA” showing in its center a flower (Sassone rarity R1, only in use in Cles) and sent to Pergine. An extremely rare Lombardy-Venetia/Austria mixed franking used in Austria and the only known first issue mixed franking showing an illustrated registration marking cancelling the stamp. Certainly one of the most attractive mixed frankings in existence. Certificate Martin Eichele (2002).
