1859 5 Gr. Plate I, dark carmine (carminio scuro), with four good margins. Unused with the characteristic brownish original gum. Small stain on the cheek, otherwise very fine and scarce.

A fresh and attractive example of this desirable shade, retaining its original gum and displaying excellent overall appearance.
