1859 2 Gr. Plate II, blue (azzurro), porous paper (PA), position 83 showing retouch, with good to close margins, on cover dated 9 March to Sciacca. Tied by a misplaced framed cancellation, with part oval-framed MARSALA despatch handstamp at right in red and Palermo cds at centre.
A fine and attractive postal history item, clearly displaying this recorded retouched position on cover. The misplaced cancellation leaves the variety particularly well visible.
