1859 2 Gr. Plate II, ultramarine (azzurro oltremare), two examples on small fragment, one stamp being position 83 showing retouch, the adjoining stamp displaying a second distinct retouch at upper left. Fine used example with good to close margins.
A scarce multiple, illustrating two different retouches within the same pair and of particular importance for the study of Plate II varieties.
