1859 2 Gr. Plate I, two single examples showing retouches in positions 36 and 78, on cover dated 23 October to Naples. Unusually franked and tied by a single cancellation. Oval-framed GIARRE despatch handstamp and Messina transit marking alongside. Some toning, not unduly detracting.
A highly interesting and unusual cover, combining two distinct retouched positions on the same franking.
