1859 1 Gr. Plate I, state I, olive-brown (bruno olivastro), seven examples comprising a pair (positions 47–48), a second pair (positions 27–28), a third pair (positions 45–46), and a single example (position 41), all with close to good to large margins except the latter. Positions 48 and 27 showing listed retouches. Red oval-framed PIAZZA despatch handstamp, addressed to Caltanissetta.

A remarkable cover of the greatest rarity, representing an unrecorded franking in Sassone. Exhibition showpiece.
