A superb and rare example of usage during the 1863 reissue period, a notably scarce late use (only ten covers, four pieces, and a single stamp recorded by Peter McCann and Karl Louis, GB Journal Vol. 55 No. 1), with this example—along with two others in the collection—remaining unrecorded.
