1840 2d Deep Full Blue, Plate 1. A fresh horizontal strip of four (QG–QJ) with good to large margins all round, lightly cancelled by black Maltese Crosses. A light natural bend between QG–QH, with much original gum still remaining on the reverse. Excellent overall appearance and a rare multiple.
