1840 VR Official 1d Black (GA) Left-Hand Marginal with Inscription “Back be careful no,” Mint
A superb and pristine example, this left-hand marginal VR Official 1d Black retains the rare partial inscription “Back be careful no” and features finely balanced margins on the other three sides. The stamp is brilliantly fresh, with original gum fully intact and unmounted (never hinged); only a small portion of the left margin shows a hinge, well away from the stamp itself.
A truly exceptional stamp, representing one of the finest examples in private hands, combining rarity, condition, and visual appeal.
