The Largest Known Strip of Plate 2
1840 1d black pl.2 in horizontal strip of nine PB-PJ with good to large margins all round and numerous strikes of red MC, varying faults on a few stamps, an attractive and extremely scarce strip, the largest known strip of plate 2 (the second largest being a strip of 8 in the Beresford-Wylie collection).
