Kedirie. 10 cent 1868 and 50 cent 1870 in mixed franking on envelope from Toelong Agoeng via Kedirie to The Hague. Stamps struck by the framed FRANCO and tied to cover by Kedirie half-round franco postmark 7.7 1870 with an additional strike on the cover and written directive “via Marseille”. On back are red line stamp TOELONG-AGOONG (41 mm) and The Hague arrival 29.8 1870. Envelope with some repairs at back and the name of addressee rewritten. Stamps with excellent perforation on a rare and very attractive mixed franking cover. With signature Georg Bühler on back.

60 cent rate for a letter to the Netherlands via Marseille (Jan. 1870-May 1876). The Toelong Agoeng sub-post office opened in 1864 and became a full post office in March 1877.
