Fort de Kock. 1870, 10 cent brown very well struck by Fort de Kock round franco postmark 18.9 1873. A superb cancel on a stamp in immaculate condition and with faultless perforation. Voerman 750. The latest recorded date for this postmark; a great rarity with only three examples recorded.
Previously a sub-post office, the Fort de Kock office in west Sumatra received post office status May 1st 1873.
