Bodjonegoro. 1870, 20 cent blue centrally struck by rare Bodjonegoro round franco postmark 13.7 1873. A well-placed cancel on a stamp with a few minor imperfections. Listed in Voerman as Unknown. A very late use and the latest recorded date for this postmark. A great rarity; three examples recorded.
Previously a sub-post office, the Bodjonegoro office in east Java received post office status July 1st 1872.
