Passoeroean. 1870, 10 cent brown on letter to Batavia; very fine stamp centrally struck by Passoeroean half-round franco postmark 22.5 1873 with an additional strike on the front. Letter with address in a strikingly idiosyncratic hand to the director of the Department of Justice in Batavia. Red Batavia arrival 27.5 1873 on back. Tidy letter sheet without content, with some light ink corrosion to the front. An extremely rare letter and very late use of the Passoeroean half round franco on a complete letter. About five letters are known from Passoeroean.
