Benkoelen. 1870, 10 cent brown with well-placed and complete Benkoelen half-round franco postmark 28.6 187?. A very clear postmark on a fine stamp of good colour with excellent perforation and a minimal thin spot lower right; an excellent strike of one of the rarest of the half-round franco postmarks from the office in west Sumatra, Voerman 1250. 4 examples recorded on the 1870 issue.
