Salatiga. 1868, 10 cent red on very fresh folded letter sent from Salatiga to Samarang, tied to envelope by the Salatiga half-round franco cancel 15.11 1870 with an additional strike on the front. Complete letter sheet without content sent to the merchant Bijleveld in Samarang; showing Samarang arrival 15.11 1870, on the day of sending. Stamp in superb condition, with excellent strikes of the half-round franco on a fresh letter of excellent paper quality. Extremely rare: five letters recorded from Salatiga.
