Ternate. 1864, 10 cent red, with good to wide margins on all sides but slightly into frameline top left. Struck by well-placed Ternate half-round franco postmark 5.5 1870 in blue. Bulterman Poststempels 80, Voerman 200. Stamp with a closed tear centre right and other minor faults, but one of the best examples of the postmark of Ternate on the Maluku Islands in a radiant blue colour. The latest recorded date of this postmark.
