1864 10 cent red, the phenomenal block of 10 cancelled by framed FRANCO and the half-round franco of Salatiga 2 June 1867. With ample margins all around and slightly touching bottom left, a small scissor cut (2mm) between second and third stamp in lower row and a light horizontal fold (more pronounced to the left side) runs through the lower row, but without compromising the exquisite appeal of this rare multiple.

EACH STAMP CAREFULLY STRUCK DIAGONALLY BY THE FRAMED FRANCO POSTMARK AND ADDITIONALLY BY FIVE COMPLETE AND WELL-PLACED STRIKES OF THE SALATIGA HALF-ROUND FRANCO DATEMARK.
Initially, the framed FRANCO postmark would have been struck in a sub-post office, and when the letter transited in the nearby main post office of Salatiga, the datemark was applied.
