1864, 10 cent red, mint block of six, pos. 38-40, 48-50, with full original gum and two very light hinge remnants on two stamps. With wide margins on all sides and large part of right margin; with the characteristic brown gum and light browning to paper, pencil note on back “25. Balasse”.
AN EXTREMELY RARE BLOCK OF SIX OF THE 10 CENT 1864. LARGE MINT MULTIPLES OF THIS ISSUE ARE EXCEEDINGLY SCARCE.
