1878, 40 Rp. grau, zusammen mit 5 Rp. braun. 5 Rp. oben mit Eckzahnfehler, sonst sind beide Marken gut gezähnt, auf Vorladung von Wittnau, zentrisch entwertet mit schwarzem Stempel « WITTNAU 3.IV.78 » und nebengesetzt wiederholt, sowie eingefasster CHARGE Stempel. Laut Attest Berra 2013 handelt es sich bei diesem Brief um das früheste bekannte Briefdatum einer 40 Rp. Sitzenden Helvetia.
