1850, Not-Postschein von Menznau nach Russwil, schwarzer Stabstempel « MENZNAU » auf dem Schein. Da Menznau noch keine Formulare erhalten hatte, musste der Posthalter Lauber Griff eigene Postscheine erstellen, die Gebühr betrug 5 Rp. und wurde bar bezahlt. Gemäss Bäuml sollen nur 3 solche Postscheine bekannt sein. Attest Eichele 2024.
