Group Lot: 1840s-60s, Dutch East Indies Military-Related Covers: Four folded covers addressed to members of the military in the Dutch East Indies, including 1863 to 8th Battalion in Kedong-Kebo (location of a famous fort) with "LAMPONGSCHE/DISTRIKTEN" red boxed handstamp; red Palembang oval on undated cover to 8th Battalion at Ngawie; Banda and Djocjokarta ovals on covers to the same addressee in different locations, incl. Pankal Pinang on Banka Island. Minor wear, but overall Very Fine; scarce material.
