1940 (23 Aug.) Censored airmail cover from Nicosia to England, bearing a KGVI Pictorial 13½pi franking, tied by NICOSIA/CYPRUS datestamps. Additionally struck with the scarce hexagonal violet "PALESTINE PASSED BY CENSOR T.5" cachet and the boxed "LATE FEE PAID" handstamp. A very fine and scarce wartime airmail usage with attractive censorship markings.
