1940 (24 Feb.) Large censored envelope sent via Nicosia to Larnaca, bearing a Greek 1Dr adhesive for postage together with an 8Dr stamp invalid for postal use. As a result, the cover was taxed on arrival, receiving "T" and "3⅓ C.P. / TO PAY" handstamps alongside. An unusual and scarce example illustrating the treatment of invalid stamp usage under wartime postal regulations.
