1917 (8 Oct.) Stampless picture postcard depicting the Landing Stage, Famagusta, sent from Monarga to Paris, bearing the rare French Military Post datestamp "TRÉSOR ET POSTES 9–12 / 17" (Type 601B). A very fine and highly desirable example of the French military postal service in Cyprus during the First World War, and one of the key postal history items of this short-lived operation.
