1915 envelope addressed to Famagusta, franked on the reverse with a King George V ½ piastre stamp, tied by a very fine strike of the scarce Cyprus railway ambulant postmark “R.P.O. * CYPRUS * No. 5.”

An attractive example of mail carried by the Cyprus Government Railway Travelling Post Office. The envelope has faults, including damage to the back flap, but the railway cancellation remains exceptionally clear and well struck.
