1897 (24 Apr.) Envelope to Larnaca, bearing Russian Levant 10k tied by the “942” Larnaca numeral obliterator, with small boxed “MB” handstamp below (Proud Type SL3), arrival bs of Laranca. An exceptional and important cover, believed to be one of only two recorded examples of this “MB” handstamp and a particulaly late use.
