1893 (19 Mar.) 2pi G-size registered envelope, uprated with 4pi pale olive-green, sent from Larnaca to London; adhesive cancelled by numeral "942". At left, a superb strike of the very rare large double-lined REGISTERED/CYPRUS handstamp in red, with London Registered oval datestamp (27 Mar.) at right and London arrival CDS (27 Mar.) on reverse. Small cover tear at right. Stamp lifted and placed back, not detracting from the fine appearance of this very rare cover.
