1889 (27 July) Large O.H.M.S. envelope to Nicosia, franked with 1882 ½pi emerald-green in a block of nine and three singles, together with 1pi rose (3), all tied by the LIMASSOL A / JY 27 89 / CYPRUS squared-circle datestamp. Larnaca transit and Nicosia arrival backstamps on reverse. An unusual and scarce official usage paying the 9½pi rate.
