1883 (9 Apr.) O.H.M.S. envelope (official imprint crossed out) from Headquarter Camp to Edinburgh, Scotland, bearing 1882 2pi blue, vertical pair, cancelled by the scarce "D48" barred numeral, with HEADQUARTER CAMP / CYPRUS "A" / AP 9 83 c.d.s. alongside; Larnaca and Nicosia transit datestamps and arrival backstamp. The only recorded example bearing this combination of Headquarters Camp cancellations, making it one of the great rarities of early Cyprus postal history.
