Invalid Cyprus Overprinted Stamps Used on Cyprus Mail
1908 (30.10) Envelope from Larnaca to Saltburn-by-the-Sea, England, bearing 1880 1d red (Plate 215) and 2½d rosy mauve (Plates 14 and 15) stamps, all invalid for postage in Cyprus. Each stamp is marked with a blue crayon “O” indicating invalid franking. The cover bears the “T” tax handstamp and “2D / I.S.A.” postage due marking, together with the LARNACA A / OC 30 08 / CYPRUS datestamp.
