1879 (6 Aug.) Envelope franked Great Britain ½d rose, plate 12, vertical pair, neatly tied by numeral "942" and LARNACA/6.8.1879 cds alongside, addressed to Belgium. Underpaid for the normal foreign letter rate of
2½d per ½ oz and taxed on arrival at Larnaca Post Office with "T" and large boxed "INSUFFICENTLY PAID" handstamp. Usual transit and arrival backstamps. The only recorded example to date.
