1878 (19 Dec.) Envelope franked with British 2½d, plate 12 (pair, letters MB–MC) and 1d red, plate 206 (vertical pair, letters LI–MI), all neatly cancelled by numeral "942" and LARNACA/DEC.19.1878 cds, addressed to Alexandria with arrival datestamp on reverse, paying the double-rate postage.
A wonderful early usage of British stamps from Cyprus during the first year of British administration.
