The Finest newspaper usage
1878 (7 Nov.) Cyprus newspaper dated 7 November 1878, franked with Great Britain 1d red, plate 179, cancelled by the "942" Larnaca numeral obliterator and addressed to Birmingham. Paying the 1d newspaper rate for printed matter not exceeding four ounces. The finer of the two recorded newspaper usages from Cyprus to Great Britain bearing a British adhesive used in Cyprus.
A major rarity of the British Administration period.
