Original copper-engraved map of Cyprus from Geographiae Universae, engraved by Girolamo Porro and published in Cologne by Petrus Keschedt, 1598. The map presents Cyprus with numerous place names, mountain ranges, and coastal features, with the title above the map and embellished with two decorative strapwork cartouches. A finely engraved example of late Renaissance Italian cartography, combining classical geographical scholarship with elegant ornamental design. Sheet size: 192mm × 279mm.
