1609 Mercator & Hondius Map of Cyprus: A beautifully hand-coloured 1609 map of Cyprus by Gerardus Mercator and Jodocus Hondius, featuring inset maps of Lemnos, Lesvos, Euboea, Kythira, and Rhodes. Published in the rare first German edition of the Atlas Minor, with German text on the reverse. Sheet size of the Map measures approximately 224mm × 177mm, with full margins and presented in extremely fine condition. A highly desirable example for collectors of antique maps.
