1944 Registered letter from Kharj to Mecca showing one of the very few known Kharj registration boxed handstamps, bearing 1/2g red and 1g green 1934 issue, and the mandatory hospital tax stamp 1/8g (30x18 mm); stamps in very fine condition lightly cancelled by Al Kharj bilingual pm 15 July 1944. On reverse are Al Kharj and Mecca pms; very fine and with the scarce Al Kharj registration box N. 21140.
