1944 Letter from the American Legation in Jeddah to New York, bearing five 1/2g red carmine 1934 issue and a rare pair of the 1/8g hospital tax stamp (30x18 mm), all struck by Washington DC duplex barred 4; the long cover is folded for display which partly obscures the red marking "This article originally mailed in country indicated by postage". Very unusual and scarce
