1940 Letter from Jeddah to Mecca carrying 1/2g red carmine 1934 issue and the mandatory hospital tax stamp (with defect), tied to envelope by the only known example of Allith 15 bilingual datestamp 12 Oct 1940. On reverse is Mecca arrival. A tidy envelope with a clearly struck postmark of the highest rarity.
