1938 Registered airmail letter from Mecca to Bombay, bearing on back four stamps of the 1934 Tughra issue (1/8g, 1/2g, 3g, 10g) and 1/8g 1936 hospital tax stamp (format 30x18 mm),. all stamps tied by Mecca bilingual cds, alongside Jeddah, Port Taufiq, Alexandria transits and Mandvi Bombay arrival 17 Dec 1938. On front are Mecca reg. label tied by Mecca datestamp and pink bilingual Par Avion label. A spectacular 4-colour franking and a scarce airmail rate to an unusual destination, indeed very fine.
