On reverse franked by 1pi grey and 2pi yellow-brown, tied by black double circle Arabic Mecca, also Suez transit and Nimes arrival 28 Aug 1898. Manuscript endorsements on front "A.R." and "Via Suez and Alexandrie". A Very rare example of registered mail with advice of receipt from Mecca.
