King with halo wearing tunic with long tails over loin cloth, standing left, holding longbow in left hand, arrow in right, tall and slender Garuda standard at left, Brahmi legend under arm, skanda, circular Brahmi legend around, likely jayati mahītalaṃ (skandaguptaḥ) sudhanvī (The excellent archer Skandagupta conquers the earth). Reverse: Lakshmi with halo and necklace seated facing on lotus, holding diadem and long-stemmed lotus left, treasure vessel with pearls flowing out in left quadrant, Brahmi legend on reverse Kramadityah. The variety with pearls flowing to the left of goddess on reverse, here represented very clearly.
VF, a good strike with some flattening of high points, well-centered, semi-lustrous, a cut on the edge at 8 o'clock position.
