Obverse: Lion-Slayer type; king without halo, bare chested and muscular, wearing short loin cloth, holding the bow in his left hand, and firing an arrow at the lion to the right, lion falls backward. Truncated Brahmi legend around. Reverse: Lakshmi sitting with folded legs to front on a reclining lion facing to the left, her right knee resting on the neck of the lion and the right leg slightly pendant, holding a diadem in her right hand and a lotus flower in left; tamgha to left, Brahmi legend to right sinhavikkramah.
