Gupta Empire, Chandragupta II, c. 380-413, AV dinar, 7.89 g. (19 mm). Archer type. Special features: elegant king wearing long tails over loin cloth, excellent details on attire and jewellery, as well as the bow. Goddess resting left hand on knee while holding diadem and long-stemmed lotus flower. Very clear legend srivikrama. Kumar, TOTGE 2024, Class III. Raven, CG2/Group 7.
EF, a very good strike with high relief. The small, irregular flan doesn't quite accommodate the design elements, but an attractive depiction of the king with sharp features, and an appealing reverse.
