Obverse: Lyrist type; king seated left on a couch, playing the lyre or vina musical instrument, circular Brahmi inscription from 1 o'clock around, mahārājādhirāja-śrīsamudraguptaḥ, si below couch. Reverse: nimbate goddess Lakshmi seated left on a stool with couch back shown behind her, holding diadem and cornucopia, Brahmi legend at right, Samudraguptah; dotted border around.
