Obverse: Javelin type; king wearing royal tunic standing, holding javelin with spearhead pointed down and sacrificing at altar, with Garuda standard in left field, Brahmi Samudra below his left arm, circular Brahmi legend around starting 1 o'clock. Reverse: nimbate goddess Lakshmi enthroned with left leg raised, holding diadem and cornucopia, Brahmi inscription at right, parakramah, tamgha left, dotted border around. A rare variety in which the goddess on reverse has her left leg raised; this is rarely seen in the javelin type.
VG-Fine, with an even distribution of details and lustrous, a very attractive reverse with clear legend.
