Obverse: King-and-Queen’ type; king standing at right, queen at left both with halo, facing each other, crescent between them, king holding up right hand, Brahmi legend at left Sri Kumaradevi, Brahmi legend right Chandragupta. Reverse: goddess enthroned facing, seated on lion facing left, holding diadem and cornucopia, tamgha to left, Brahmi inscription at right, dotted border around. Kumar, TOTGE 2024, variety II, A, 3. Raven, SG/group 7. A rare variety.
About VF, a well-centered strike with flattening to the high points on both sides, with an unusually clear legend on reverse, a minimal scrape to the edge at 3 o'clock.
