Reverse: PONTIF MAX TR-P VIIII COS IIII P P, Virtus standing left, wearing military attire, right foot on pile of arms, dagger in right hand resting on right knee, grounded spear in left; EX-S C across fields. RIC I 36. A rare coin with an attractive portrait of the youthful emperor.
With a dig in the reverse left field and some scratches and scuffs to the edge, visible from obverse and reverse, indicating prior jewellery mounting, otherwise good very fine.
